Class: Interior Design Studio, FIT Interior Design
Year: 7th Semester
Venue: Ripley’s Department Store, Lima, Peru
Ripley's department store is known for its signature signage and appeal to customers throughout South America. Inspired by the mountains and nature found in Peru, this is combined with the hierarchy of concrete buildings and streets in New York City. The newly reinvented design uses high-end materials and finishes. It embraces natural light, interactive user technology, and provides customers with a cosmopolitan look.
The two design proposals represent the Shoe and Cosmetic Department within Ripley's. Both are located on the ground floor and embrace the ideologies mentioned above.
